About Me
- Name: nickthepoiguy
- Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada
Born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, I moved West when I was 20. I've been on one adventure or another ever since. I get big ideas and launch crazy projects and I fall on my face a lot and it hurts but I keep doing it.
I'm currently a bit of an underground poi celebrity, thanks to the poi fire photos and poi videos I post on my website. This has allowed me to travel all over the world to perform and teach. It's been fun at times and difficult at others, as I made a lot of sacrifices and took a lot of risks in the process (leading to that falling-on-my-face bit)
I'm also very interested in communications, culture, the internet, and the potential of human consciousness. I'll be using this blog to share my adventures as I travel, playing poi, meeting interesting people, studying with expert teachers, and searching for signs of intelligent life.
